Catherine AD is the work of British multi-instrumentalist Catherine Anne Davies. Describing her Patrick Wolf/Kate Bush-inspired confessionalism as “pirate radio for the heartbreak”, Catherine's music doesn't just quiver under the covers like the recent crop of female singer-songwriters. Instead Miss A.D. packs a life-affirming epic punch alongside her softer moments that showcase a voice which even Courtney Love has described as "gorgeous sick beautiful". She is currently recording her noir-pop debut album, which is being produced by Bernard Butler (Suede, Duffy, The Cribs) and Liam Howe (Sneaker Pimps).
