Saw the second EAR on Saturday and have the following thoughts/comments:-
+ve - Sam Carter=great, Nathan Lee=incredible.
-ve - Nila Raja...sorry, who told you you can sing?!...I am not being nasty but you were either incredibly nervous or people have not been honest with you...you and the guests played beautifully, but when you sang it spoilt it...although the 'trainee' on the sound desk didnt help ( I hope he/she wasnt getting paid!
Also why were there such long gaps between some performance...this is afterall a showcase, so people should be willing to maximise their exposure time.
A great (free) evening out, with some good performers...looking forward to the next.

An interesting evening - I actually thought Nila Raja was the highlight, especially the first half of her set.
Nathan's set was fun - it was great that he let Micky have centre stage for a bit, he is an amazing guitarist. Missed some of the earlier performers - will have to get there earlier next time.

I agree with the comment that Nila Raja was the highlight of the evening. I've been to a few of her gigs and I don't know how anyone could say she can't sing!?! Her voice is stunning!
The sound on the night was really bad - hopefully it'll be better next time!

I went a few months ago this year, was quite good. Was wondering who the girl was that did the poetry and she was from south london, I think. She was awesome, as well as the beat boxer.
